VALLETTA, MT – Il-Ministeru responsabbli għar-regolamentazzjoni tas-servizzi finanzjarji ppubblika l-Avviż Legali 197 tal-2026, li jemenda r-Regolamenti dwar l-Iskemi ta’ Investiment Kollettiv Notifikati (Notified CISs). Dawn l-emendi jbiddlu t-terminoloġija użata fir-regolamenti prinċipali, il-Kapitolu 370 tal-Liġijiet ta’ Malta. Ir-regolamenti ġodda jiddefinixxu mill-ġdid il-funzjoni ta’ min iżomm l-assi tal-iskemi. Il-bidla prinċipali tikkonsisti fis-sostituzzjoni tat-terminu kustodju bit-terminu depożitarju. Din l-emenda saret wara parir mogħti mill-Awtorità għas-Servizzi Finanzjarji ta’ Malta (MFSA).

L-operaturi fis-settur tal-fondi ta’ investiment notifikati f’Malta għandhom jaġġornaw id-dokumentazzjoni u l-proċeduri operattivi tagħhom biex jirriflettu t-terminoloġija ġdida. Kull referenza għal kustodju, kustodji, jew servizzi ta’ kustodja fir-regolamenti eżistenti issa għandha tinqara bħala depożitarju, depożitarji, jew servizzi ta’ depożitarju. L-implimentazzjoni ta’ dawn il-bidliet tiddependi fuq il-kapaċità tal-istituzzjonijiet finanzjarji li jadattaw il-kuntratti eżistenti tagħhom mal-fornituri tas-servizzi ta’ depożitarju.
