FLORIANA, MT — L-Awtorità tal-Ippjanar ħarġet żewġ avviżi ta’ waqfien u ta’ twettiq f’Ġunju 2026 skont l-Artikoli 97, 98 u 99 tal-Att dwar l-Ippjanar tal-Iżvilupp tal-2016. Fil-Marsa, fuq sit fi Triq Prince Albert, il-kumpanija Forever Paws Ltd, rappreżentata minn Christian Grech, wettqet żvilupp mingħajr permess li jinkludi bidla fl-użu ta’ garaxx għal faċilità ta’ kremazzjoni tal-annimali u installazzjonijiet strutturali mhux awtorizzati. Fir-Rabat (Għawdex), Laura Sant irċeviet avviż dwar garaxx fi Triq il-Kastell minħabba kostruzzjoni li taqbeż il-parametri approvati fil-permess oriġinali PAPB4120/85 tat-2 ta’ Jannar 1986.

Il-faċilità fil-Marsa toħloq tħassib partikolari minħabba l-installazzjoni ta’ inċineratur u ċumnija li ma jikkonformawx mal-politiki nazzjonali dwar l-emissjonijiet u l-ippjanar. Il-partijiet ikkonċernati għandhom l-obbligu li jikkonformaw mal-istruzzjonijiet tal-Awtorità jew jippreżentaw il-każ tagħhom legalment fil-perjodu stabbilit.
